PRX-T33 is a professional skin treatment that combines trichloroacetic acid (TCA) with hydrogen peroxide and kojic acid. Unlike traditional peels, it's designed to work beneath the surface of the skin without causing heavy peeling, which is why it's often called a "no-peel peel".
PRX-T33 is popular for dull or tired-looking skin, uneven texture, fine lines, mild skin laxity and the appearance of acne scarring and stretch marks. It's suitable for many skin types and can be used on the face, neck and décolletage.
Your first visit starts with a free consultation, where Jane looks at your skin, talks through your skincare routine and medical history, and recommends whether a single treatment or a course would suit you best.
Your skin is cleansed and the PRX-T33 solution is massaged in, in layers, until it's fully absorbed. It's then neutralised and a moisturiser is applied. You may feel a warm or tingling sensation during treatment. There are no needles involved.
Most people can carry on with their day, although skin may look a little pink for a short while. Use a gentle cleanser and moisturiser, wear a high-factor sunscreen and avoid active skincare products for a few days. Light flaking is possible but uncommon.
Many people notice brighter, fresher-looking skin soon after treatment. For longer-lasting improvement, a course of treatments spaced a week or so apart is usually recommended. Results vary from person to person.
